Electrical & Controls
PLC
A programmable logic controller, PLC, or programmable controller is a digital computer used for automation of typically industrial electromechanical processes. PLC is an industrial computer control system that continuously monitors the state of input devices and makes decisions based upon a custom program to control the state of output devices. PLC redundancy is worth the engineering cost and maintenance cost when it comes to mission critical control systems.
HMI
Human Machine Interface (HMI) is an interface between the user and the machine.
HMI processes batch and discrete applications managed in a single software package to deliver critical visibility on demand and improving the productivity.
ASME Codes & Standards
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is one of the oldest standards-developing organizations in America. Approximately 600 codes and standards cover many technical areas, systems, and components, which are cited by government agencies as tools to meet their regulatory objectives in over 100 countries. ASME standards are voluntary, unless the standards have been incorporated into a legally binding business contract or incorporated into regulations enforced by an authority having jurisdiction, such as a federal, state, or local government agency.
