Movember is an annual event during the month of November to raise awareness and address some of the biggest health issues faced by men such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. As some of you may also know, Khalil Jaber, Sr., founder of Gas Land, Inc., bravely battled prostate cancer late in life. In memory of his leadership, friendship, and camaraderie that touched upon all facets of Gas Land, Inc.
In November 2016, Gas Land raised $2,120! In November 2017, Gas Land raised $1,775!
Education
Gas Land partners with educational organizations that strive to benefit our nation’s future competitiveness in the engineering industry. We are a proud supporter of the Advanced Power and Energy Program (APEP) at University of California, Irvine. APEP is uniquely successful in supporting and promoting U.S. power generation leadership through a “systems and market-based” approach which encompasses the advancement of public-private strategic alliances, the deployment of electrical power generation and transportation systems into the built-environment, and the development of the next generation technologies to meet the energy needs of the world.
